OOPS!! I had down on my schedule that I was supposed to be off today and work tomorrow, as I said the other day, "I have Friday and Saturday off and I am the happiest girl in the world!" Well, this morning I was asleep, well, kind of, and David from work called. "You DO know you are supposed to come into work today, don't you?" And I said, "No, I am coming in tomorrow!" We went back and forth for a while, and I just decided to come in. I hustled my butt to work in just over an hour, not too shabby. I popped by BK on the way to get an egg and cheese biscuit sandwich and hash browns (or "hash brownies" as a former co-worker's little boy used to call them)...the girl repeated it back, even saying "Egg and cheese biscuit sandwich, no meat" Well, I got on the highway and opened up the sandwich and...AUGGH!...bacon! I had to pull over and perform a baconectomy, and a partial cheesectomy, then it was ok to eat. Don't get me wrong, I am most certainly not a vegetarian...I LOVE meat! (heh-heh, I said "meat!") But I don't eat bacon or any pork product. And the biscuit was a bit overcooked, but besides that it was the perfect breakfast! :^) Work was not too bad, good thing, I was pretty tired, but I felt ok...I had slept well Thursday night and stuff like that affects me the morning after the morning after, if you know what I mean. Tomorrow morning may be rough, but now I am off Sunday. Which is cool because it rained and was yucky today but it's supposed to be sunny and in the 70's tomorrow, that means I can go to get some potting soil and nourish my flowerbeds, and put out my "lawn jewelry!" YAY! I felt bad, I stayed til about 5:15 pm, then I met my parents for dinner at MCL cafeteria. Free food..YAY! It was good too.
This contestant on Match Game is named Bob Dylan Sr, well, it's probably Dillon, but he is like the stereotypical "square" looking dude and how funny to think he could be Bob Dylan's father, and Jakob's grandfather. HAHA
I am more than concerned now about the pics from my niece's birthday party, now I can't find the pics or the picture disk. My sister has the copies of the pictures, maybe I left my copies and the disk at my mom's house, or maybe at my sister's house...I hope I find them soon!
I miss "Crabby Road!" It's been discontinued by the syndicate!
I am too tired to go to see a movie tomorrow, maybe Sunday evening since I don't work til Monday evening. I will have to tape "6 Feet Under," no biggie!
I just checked and the blogsticker factory is back up! So I made my blogstickers, I had ideas for 22! Then I e-mailed them to Gary Turner, who runs the site, he may put them on blogstickers.com! I will keep you updated, that would be so KEWL!
Well, how many times have I said this but I may watch Grosse Pointe Blank..although John Leguizamo's special is on HBO...too many choices! But I love my satellite dish, the only thing is that you can't watch one satellite channel and tape another, when I got my satellite 2 years ago, they said they were working on this, and hoped to resolve it within a year (or maybe "the year," see, that's how they get you, they don't say what year!) so..who else has Dish Network? Let's protest! Fight the power! Fight the power!

I went to the gym today, did the machines, stationary bike and treadmill. YAY! ME! I will go tomorrow too. I was so tired when I got home that I had to take a nap after my shower, then it was too late to go to a movie before 6 pm (I usually do not care, I am not cheap or anything, but on Fridays, if I go to the movies I go early or late, not in "prime time") then it started thunderstorming so I will stay in for the night I think. I catalogued my Kodak picture disk, one is missing and that really upsets me, I can't find the 1st picture disk from my niece's birthday party this year, I have the pictures but can't find the disk, I guess I can turn the Advantix cassette back in and get another picture disk, but that would be a pain. I will think about it. My pictures should be ready @Meijer. I would go if it wasn't so yucky out!
Steve Martin was on the old SNL on E! tonight. Very cool, the Czech brothers, Family Feud with the Coneheads, "Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" What more could you want?
I am so happy I have the day off tomorrow, it will allow me to run errands I didn't run today because I was sleeping or it was yucky!

So today at work we had cake and presents for DionNe...also one of the evening shift techs is going to days so there was a cake for her too! CAKE CITY!! DionNe liked the gifts...my friend April got her a TOUGH pen, engraved with her name, very nice! I got her (well, with $$ from people at work) a t-shirt that says "Got Sushi?" and has a pic of 3 sushis, and a pack of note cards packaged to look like sushi. She will be missed that is for sure.
Movie recommendation from April..she saw Van Wilder and said it was very funny! It's by National Lampoon, and Tim Matheson (Eric Stratten, rush chairman, damn glad to meet you! is in it, plays Van Wilder's dad..too cool!) I haven't seen it...I want to go to the movies because I have 2 days off (fri & sat) ...I am the happiest girl in the world!
So I didn't go to the gym tonight, I didn't get to lunch because I was so G-darn busy so I only had cake, my body needed protein so I went to Panera Bread and got Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice soup and half a Sierra Turkey sandwich...MMMMMMM!!!!!!!!! Yummy! Then I came home, straightened up, took out the trash and caught up on some bills and e-mails. Also I played with my Clie (no, that's not a typo, it's my PDA/"Palm"), I have been neglecting it lately in favor of my new toy...my 'blog! :^)
BUMMER! I tried to use the blogsticker factory to make my own blogstickers, I have lots of good ideas, but I got an error message. I e-mailed my ideas to the site with a request for help, I hope I can use it soon!
David @work loaned me the Grosse Pointe Blank DVD..I think I may watch it here since ER is a rerun! D'oh! It seems like when I can actually stay up to watch ER it's a repeat! :^(
I am going to try to troubleshoot installation of Pocket Quicken to my Clie...AGAIN!...Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this. My nice baby brother got me the COMPUSA gift card I bought it with, I don't want it to fail!

This may be TMI but I have been religiously using 7-day scrub cream and the 2-step care from Clinique and I swear there are fewer blackheads on my chin and nose :^)

Oh goodness gracious! I haven't posted in several days. I have been so busy! I won tickets to the Pacers game Monday night. My mom & I went, they lost but that's cool, we had fun and GREAT seats! $45 seats, I won them at work. Too cool! And I have a new blogsticker..so it was worth the wait!!
I went to the gym Fri Sat & Sun, I worked hard, sweated WAY too much and am very proud of myself :^) I will be going tomorrow night after work then I am off Fri & Sat so I will go both days for sure! :^)
I called my brother and told him I ordered that CD with the old SNL skits & songs on it, he still remembers so many of the routines, we have this incredible Cohen memory gene. My niece has it I think. My cousin Sam used to work for Highland (an appliance superstore) and he knew all the model #s by heart. A Cohen no doubt! (well, his mother was a Cohen before she got married)
Some people do not realize Cohen is a VERY common name, among Jews and Non-Jews. We are all related if you go back to Moses' brother Aaron. It's very cool to know that we go back so far.
Good day at work today, a doctor took a recommendation I made on Vancomycin dosing, and then the same doctor asked for advice with a drug interaction. I just thought out loud and he said that was a good suggestion and that he would contact another doctor about it. YAY! ME!
Tomorrow we are having cake for DionNe, who is leaving to move to TX. I picked up the cake today...it looks FABULOUS and OMG it smells so good! So fresh and yummy...DROOL!!!!!!!! I am sorry to see DionNe go, but then again, there is CAKE!
Brazil wants to sue the producers of the SImpsons, they are upset about the portrayal of their country. On the show, Brazilians had Spanish accents, the Lambada & Macarena were attributed to Brazil and there were attack monkeys about, plus there was crime aplenty and Homer got kidnapped by a taxi driver. Unfortunately for Brazil, that wonderful 1st amendment makes it very difficult to sue someone for parody. 2 things made me laugh at loud during that episode, Marge was reading "Who wants to be a Brazillionaire?" and they stayed at the Rio-Days-Inn-Ero. To me this is like the people who say "Homer Simpson doesn't wear his seat belt, that is a bad influence!" Dude, if you are patterning your life after Homer, you need help!
New South Park tonight, they are auditioning friends to replace Butters who replaced the evidently dead-for-good Kenny, apparently they thought Butters was too lame. I think he's adorable!
